![]() ![]() ![]() Whomever you spoke with may have been afraid of putting their foot in their mouth and just said that they think the corporate subscription would supersede your business account. I'm not sure who exactly you spoke to at TeamViewer but I know conversations can be tricky to navigate as a vendor when someone is reselling your products. He probably didn't outright lie, but he did mislead you which is still an unethical sales practice. It sounds like the sales rep didn't want to get too specific on this because he wanted to get the deal in. Ninja's other option would have been to remove that incentive from your bundle and drop the price. It's on Ninja for not clearly explaining what steps you would need to take. From what I understand here, you had an agreement and signed ToS from TeamViewer that stated you would give 28 day written notice to cancel your business account if you decided to cancel services. I would say this falls on Ninja way more than it does TeamViewer. ![]() Don’t know if it was all necessary, but something worked.Īlso, shout-out to Ninja, who offered to make up most of the difference with a monthly discount if TV didn’t come through on the refund ![]() Update: TV has completed a full refund after I: emailed support, sent a FB message, made a FB wall post, tweeted, and filed a BBB complaint. I spent a lot of time on the phone with both TeamViewer and Ninja to understand how the licensing would work out, and my understanding was that the Corporate license would supersede the Business license.Īt no time did anyone from either company tell me that I would have to specifically cancel my existing license, even though I asked what would happen to it.Ĭome April 27 of this year, I get a $650 invoice from TeamViewer for my "Business" subscription.Ĭall TeamViewer up and am told they require a "28-day written notice prior to the date of expiry" to cancel a license. I purchased a TeamViewer Business subscription at the end of April 2018.Ībout 6 months ago, I moved to Ninja, which includes a TeamViewer corporate license. A warning to anyone who purchases from TeamViewer. ![]()
